The shop is on Stone Avenue. Type your ZIP code to check, or ask us about your street.

- Central Tucson historic districts: Barrio Viejo, El Presidio, Colonia Solana, Winterhaven · Old plaster over adobe and brick is most of what we see here.
- Foothills and the west side: Skyline, Starr Pass
- North of the city: Catalina, Oracle, SaddleBrooke
- South of the city: Amado, Tubac, Patagonia, Sonoita · A longer drive, so we group these jobs into the same week.
We don't take jobs in Phoenix or the East Valley, in Sierra Vista, or in Yuma.

How distance and the summer change the schedule
Farther jobs are grouped
Tubac, Patagonia and Sonoita are a longer drive, so we book them into the same week when we can.
Summer starts early
From June to September the crew is on the wall by 5:30 a.m. and off it by early afternoon.
Monsoon days move the date
Humid afternoons slow plaster and limewash, and we reschedule rather than rush a coat.
Questions about booking
Do I need HOA approval or a permit?
Interior finishes rarely do. Exterior limewash or a new color on a stucco wall often needs your HOA's approval, and we can supply a sample board and a photo for the request. Check with your HOA before booking exterior work.
How long does a plaster or limewash job take?
A room is often several days to a week. Plaster goes on in thin coats that have to dry between passes, so we give a range and a start date, never a promised finish date. Your estimate lists the days on site.
Does the Tucson summer change how you work?
Yes. Plaster and limewash dry fast in dry heat and can cure unevenly, so from June to September the crew starts at 5:30 a.m. and keeps the room cooler. During the monsoon, humid days slow drying and we move the schedule.
Do I need to leave the house?
Most clients stay. Prep is dusty, so we mask doorways, cover floors and keep a vacuum running, and we close off the rooms we are in. Wet plaster has a mineral smell; we open windows when the weather lets us.
